The Moorpark Exotic Animal Training Center (EATM) was designed by a high profile, detail-oriented architecture firm whose designs often add careful coordination and customized materials to the project. As such, this animal training building has a very high cost per square foot with a majority of the construction materials that had long lead times. The building’s scope consists of an auditorium, veterinarian laboratories, offices, and classrooms. From the interior and exterior finishes, to the security and electrical systems, to the elegant building design, the overall construction cost per square foot was significant for an educational facility.
Opened in 1982 the Santa Rosa Plaza is a premiere shopping mall located downtown between two monumental historic districts within Santa Rosa, California. These current renovations focused on creating a more pedestrian-friendly connection between the east and west sides of downtown, giving the entrances a facelift and improving the interior lighting system throughout.
The Lorena Family Apartments is a Mediterranean-style multifamily apartment building located in the urban Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The site plan includes a historic church building that has been relocated and renovated into the new clubhouse, picnic and barbecue areas, a playground and a recreation center. The two four-story buildings serve low-income families and consist of 112 total units, each with 2-3 bedrooms. This project includes extensive site work and innovative, energy-efficiency building technologies to meet California’s Title 24 standards.
The Collection at Riverpark is an outdoor family lifestyle center located along Highway 101 in West Ventura County that includes a wide variety of shops, restaurants and entertainment venues designed for active shopping and entertainment use both day and night. VCC’s portion of construction work includes the majority of the site work for over 62 acres, a 16-plex Century Theatres building and the construction of a half a million square feet of retail shell buildings.

An award-wining LEED Certified Gold project, this new boxy white office building includes a four-story office building, an adjacent one-story annex building and an attached three-level covered and secured parking garage that has access from each level directly into the building. The office building serves a federal government agency on a suburban seven-acre site that was cleared and prepared by demolishing one building and by performing a careful asbestos abatement. Nearly each room within the building has a special purpose, many of them with special construction details included.
